Welcome to the Blog for the Koeberle Law Firm!
The Koeberle law Firm is a boutique firm catering to the legal needs of both small businesses and individuals. We strive to bring affordable, efficient and effective legal services to our clients in a timely and personal manner.
We are not your typical law firm. And we are not your father’s or grandfather’s stodgy, old, conservative law firm. We are entrepreneurs and business owners. We are family-oriented and compassionate. And we are dedicated advocates for all your legal needs.
Our founder, Brian Koeberle, brings 20 years experience to the table as an attorney, sports marketing agent, and top-notch negotiator. Unlike many attorneys, he understands that the goal of every negotiation is to get a fair deal structured for all involved. Too many attorneys negotiate and draft agreements with an eye towards litigation. Brian negotiates deals with an eye towards creating long-lasting partnerships for all parties involved. This philosophy is the direct result of his years of experience negotiating marketing and endorsement agreements for athletes and entertainers.
Our firm’s attorneys also understand the personal needs of individuals in search of sound legal guidance. Whether it’s a young family planning for the future, or a retired couple in need of estate planning, our steady legal hand will guide you towards the right course for you and your loved ones.
The Koeberle Law Firm – offering personal service at an affordable cost!

In the wake of the Tiger Woods and Ben Roethlisberger scandals, some corporate marketers may be shying away from using a celebrity as a spokesperson for their product or service. One of the largest advantages of a Chapter 13 bankruptcy is that you are able to “cram-down” the value of your car in bankruptcy, assuming you meet the correct criteria. The criteria itself? It has been a long-standing doctrine in sports law that spectators at a baseball game assume the risk of potentially getting hit by foul balls. The application of the assumption of risk doctrine thereby serves as a complete bar to recovery for damages caused by a foul ball. This doctrine has even been extended to [...]

Mad at your homeowners association? Considering not paying your annual assessment pending resolution of the dispute? You might want to think twice. Homeowners Associations (HOA’s) have gained a lot of power under Pennsylvania Law in the past decade or so.
